From Sketchbooks to Excavations

The Trikes Years

It started with a box of crayons and a stack of printer paper. I was obsessed with the three-horned silhouette of the Triceratops. There was something about that massive frill and the sheer power of the "three-horned face" that captured my imagination. I spent countless hours perfecting the curve of its brow horns and the texture of its skin, dreaming of a world millions of years older than my own. That childhood wonder wasn't just a phase—it was the blueprint for everything that followed.

Local Gem Show Epiphany

The transition from drawing fossils to holding them happened at a local gem show. I remember walking past rows of polished amethysts and gold until I saw it: a Trilobite. Seeing those intricate, alien-like segments frozen in stone was a turning point. Holding that piece of "deep time" in my hand changed my perspective forever. I realized then that history isn't just in books—it’s etched into the very crust of the Earth.

Sharing the Find

What started as a small personal collection eventually grew into something more. As my curiosity deepened, I start to go on "real fossil hunt", to uncover specimens hidden for millions of years. Over time, my collection grew, but I realized the real joy wasn't keeping every find but to share these discoveries with other enthusiasts who appreciate them just as much. FossilVerse is my way of bringing those moments to others, so more people can experience holding a real piece of Earth's history.
