This Wallis is prepared with a dramatic curve that the body is lifted, creating a sense of movement and allowing light to pass beneath the pleurae. Each of the needle-thin spines along the thorax and pygidium has been painstakingly freed from the limestone matrix with high-end preparation. The existence of these delicate, incredible "hair-line" spines is a testament to the world-class quality of the specimen. This specimen represents a definitive acquisition for the serious fossil enthusiast and collector who values both extreme rarity and the peak of preparation artistry.
